Get the Full StoryThe UFC has already mapped out its 2018 calendar of events for Las Vegas. The UFC wrapped up its 2017 with the traditional end-of-year PPV in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it looks like 2018 will feature an identical number of shows in the world s fight capital.

MMA Fighting reported that the UFC is expected to hold five events in Vegas, including four pay-per-views and The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale July 6th . Fights are already being booked for UFC 222, which takes place on March 3rd. The other pay-per-views are UFC 226 July 7th , UFC 229 October 6th , and UFC 232 December 29th .

The UFC s first-quarter schedule includes a total of nine events over the first eleven weeks of the new year, one more than they ran in 2017. It should be noted that for 2017, a January PPV in Anaheim was scrapped due to a lack of a suitable main event. So if you were hoping for a reduction in shows in 2018, you re probably not liking what you ve just read.

Of course, these plans are subject to change.
