UFC 191 salaries: Three fighters make more than Demetrious Johnson

Get the Full StoryDespite being one of the most dominant champions in the UFC, Demetrious Johnson wasn't the top-paid fighter on the UFC 191 card. There has been a lot of talk about Demetrious Johnson's lack of appeal to UFC fans in the wake of his dominant UFC 191 title defense over John Dodson. While he is undoubtedly one of the best fighters in the promotion, the gate for the show was the lowest in Las Vegas since 2004 and the PPV numbers likely won't blow anyone away either. So it shouldn't come as much of as surprise that Johnson didn't make the most money in salary on the UFC 191 card despite being a champion.

In fact, he wasn't even in the top three earners.
